Max Simkoff
Chief Executive Officer
Max started States Title, now Doma, in 2016 after personally experiencing the friction and labor caused by title insurance in the homebuying process. Since then he has worked to provide an innovative solution to homeowners, brokers, and mortgage bankers. Max is an entrepreneur with experience founding and operating technology companies. Prior to Doma, Max was Founder and CEO of Evolv, Inc., an enterprise predictive analytics software company, which he led through their acquisition by Cornerstone (NASDAQ: CSOD) in 2014 where he served for two years on the senior executive team post-acquisition as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.

Noaman Ahmad
Chief Financial Officer
Noaman is responsible for all aspects of finance and underwriting at Doma. Previously, Noaman was Senior Vice President of Finance for a multi-billion global insurance company where he oversaw finance, investments, strategy and M&A and led the company and its investors through a successful sale and exit. Earlier in his career, he was a general manager at Aon and also led Aon’s consumer and SME innovation effort. Noaman started his career as a management consultant with Bain & Company and subsequently spent several years as a private equity investor in the US and UK.

Hasan Rizvi
Chief Technology Officer
Hasan has built and led teams for some of the industry’s leading software products over the last 30 years. Prior to Doma, Hasan was founder and CEO of Qlue Inc., which was acquired by ServiceNow Inc. Qlue was a venture-backed Customer Service Chatbot company, leveraging Messaging, NLP, and AI to automate the most common customer service tasks. Prior to that Hasan was Executive Vice President of Middleware and Java product at Oracle Corp. where he led the division through significant growth and market leadership position. He started his career at Oracle and worked on various products including the Oracle Database, System Management and Security.

Christopher Morrison
Chief Operating Officer
Christopher is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations at Doma. Prior to joining Doma as part of its founding management team, Christopher was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company.

Mini Peiris
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Mini Peiris is responsible for all marketing functions and go-to-market strategy for each business area across the company. In this role, Mini shapes and aligns demand programs, branding, messaging and thought leadership to drive momentum around the company’s transformative vision for instant closings. Mini has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. Before joining Doma, Mini held CMO roles at supply chain leader, Elementum, and cloud medical imaging provider, Ambra Health. She also served over 12 years as VP of Worldwide Marketing and VP of Product Management at SaaS ERP pioneer, NetSuite.
Mini holds a BS in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and began her career as a research scientist at Janssen Pharmaceutica.

Andy Mahdavi
Chief Data Science Officer
Andy has over 15 years of experience in bringing large datasets and scientific rigor to credit card lending, hyper real-time fraud detection, high-energy particle physics, and astrophysics. His research career began in the physical sciences, where he derived new results on galaxies, cosmology, and dark matter. The statistical techniques he utilized found a surprising application in financial services, where Andy, as Director of Data Science at Capital One Bank, created several transaction and application fraud models for credit cards. At Doma, Andy has led the deployment of the first title insurance model of its kind, which determines risk for title defects using proprietary algorithms inspired by his past experience in these diverse applications of statistics.

Eric Watson
General Counsel
Eric is responsible for the legal, compliance and regulatory functions at Doma. Previously he was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Mosaic, a speciality finance company focused on solar and home improvement loans. Prior to that Eric was Deputy General Counsel at SoFi and Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Sallie Mae. Eric started his career in New York at Skadden Arps.

Jerry Jenkins
Chief People Officer
Jerry leads all aspects of Human Resources at Doma. In this role, he is responsible for delivering people processes that drive business performance, and for creating an inclusive environment where talented people can do the best work of their career.
Prior to joining Doma, Jerry served as Vice President of Human Resources at PayPal, eBay, and First Data, leading HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations globally. At PayPal, he oversaw the design and implementation of People Operations worldwide as eBay, Inc. and PayPal separated to become two independent, publicly traded companies.
Jerry participates in the Drury University Mentoring Network, helping students gain industry-relevant skills prior to entering the workforce, and previously served on the board of INROADS as Vice-Chair for the Rocky Mountain Region.

Kirk J. Wells
SVP Strategic & Enterprise Accounts
Kirk’s role at States Title is to oversee the Doma Strategic & Enterprise Channel focused on partnering with and servicing mortgage lenders. Kirk is passionate about the marriage of predictive analytics, process innovation, and customer-centric people to create a world-class experience for all involved. Kirk was previously the Vice President of Sales for Pathgather, a New York based software startup, and has held sales leadership and technology positions at a variety of companies including Sprint, IBM, Openwave Systems, and Cornerstone.

Emilio Fernandez
President, NATIC & Underwriting
Emilio Fernandez has been in the real estate industry for 25 years. Prior to joining Doma, he was a partner at the international law firm of Holland & Knight LLP, where his practice included the acquisition and sale of commercial and residential real estate, institutional and private real estate financing, commercial leasing, condominium development and title matters. During his years in private practice, Emilio routinely issued title insurance policies to clients as an agent for all major title insurance underwriters. A member of the Florida Bar, he has served on numerous committees of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar and Dade County Bar Association. Currently, he is on the Underwriter Executive Committee of the American Land Title Association and the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Services Providers Council, Inc. Emilio is very involved in his community and is a member of the Tocqueville Society of the United Way. He is based in NATIC’s corporate office in Miami.
